He found fame and fortune in movies like “Mask of Zorro,” “Battle Cry” and “The Wild Bunch” and in TV, in shows like “Charlie’s Angels,” “Bonanza” and the original “Hawaii-Five.”
Character actor, writer and producer L.Q. Jones has died.
He was born Justice Ellis McQueen.
The Texas native had a career that spanned seven decades and was marked by 60 screen acting credits for acting, directing and writing.
Jones died of natural causes in Los Angeles over the weekend. He was 94.
