He’s one of the world’s foremost conductors – renowned for his dynamic presence on the podium, his unwavering belief that music has the power to transform lives and his love of Beethoven.
Venezuelan-born conductor, violinist and music education activist Gustavo Dudamel, has been chosen as the fourteenth Glenn Gould Prize Laureate.
He’s currently serving as Music and Artistic Director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
Dudamel will receive a cash award of $100,000 and the Glenn Gould Prize statue by Canadian artist Ruth Abernethy.
