This weekend will see intense bargaining between the province and education workers ahead of a possible strike on Monday.
Fifty-five thousand Canadian Union of Public Employees workers are set to walk off the job Monday if a deal isn’t reached by 5:00 p.m. tomorrow.
If talks are not going well, it would be the second time that CUPE workers, which include education assistants, early childhood educators and custodians, have gone on strike this month.
The Ontario Federation of Labour plans solidarity rallies across the province today.
