When you crack the Saturday newspaper tomorrow and look at the comics section, you’ll find a whole bunch of very familiar characters.

More than 75 syndicated cartoonists have tucked tributes and references to “Peanuts” in tomorrow’s funny papers to honour creator Charles Schultz on what would have been his 100th birthday.

“Peanuts” made its debut on October 2, 1950 and eventually ran in more than 2,600 newspapers reaching millions of readers in 75 countries.

Schultz died in 2,000 at the age of 77.
