Yesterday we reported on Bob Dylan’s respect for Leonard Cohen and his preference for watching a long-running British TV show.
Now, the show’s producer, hardly one to miss an opportunity, has offered Bob a cameo appearance at the Rovers Return on a future episode of Coronation Street.
The details are still being sorted out but it’s suggested Dylan could sing at an open mic night at the pub or sing some karaoke with characters Ken Barlow and Rita Sullivan.
Producer Iain MacLeod says he’s all for it, so is the cast.
The 81-year old music legend and Nobel Laureate expressed his affection for Coronation Street in a rare interview with The Wall Street Journal, saying watching the program makes him feel “at home.”
