Anita Pointer, one of the four sisters who achieved fame as The Pointer Sisters, died on Saturday.

The Grammy winner passed suddenly while she was visiting family, according to publicist Roger Neal.

A cause of death was not immediately revealed.

The group’s breakthrough song, “Yes We Can Can,” appeared on their self-titled debut album from 1973.

Between 1973 and 1985, The Pointer Sisters had 13 U.S. top 20 hits and won three Grammy awards.

The singers, who are well-known for classics like “I’m So Excited,” “Slow Hand,” “Neutron Dance,” and “Jump (For My Love”), received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1994.

The fiddle-driven ballad “Fairytale,” written by founding members Bonnie and June for The Pointer Sisters in 1974, was a hit on the country music charts and brought the trio its first of three Grammy awards.

The group enjoyed a run of successes in the 1970’s and 1980’s, starting with their cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “Fire,” which peaked at No. 2 on the American pop charts in 1978.

The Pointer Sisters also recorded the memorable pinball counting song for Sesame Street in the 1970’s.

Anita Pointer was 74.
