Damar Hamlin has been released from a Cincinnati hospital just a week after suffering cardiac arrest on the football field.
Doctors confirm the 24-year-old Bills safety is back in a Buffalo hospital to begin the next stage of his recovery. He’s no longer in critical condition.
Hamlin has been breathing on his own since last Friday, and has been active on Twitter during his recovery.
He posted several comments during Sunday’s Buffalo win against the New England Patriots, clinching the 2nd seed in the AFC.
Support continues to come in for Hamlin, as his toy drive fundraiser have received more than $8.5 million in donations since last Monday.
