The eight girls, aged 13 to 16, charged with the recent second-degree murder of 59-year-old homeless man, are also suspected in several random assaults at a handful of subway stations that same night.
Toronto Police says they’re looking to the public for help in identifying victims who were assaulted at Queen’s Park, St. Patrick, Osgoode, St. Andrew and Union stations Saturday December 17 between 10 p.m. and 12 a.m. Sunday December 18.
Those happened just hours before 59-year-old Ken Lee was fatally stabbed near Union station.
Police say ”a group of 8-10 teenage girls randomly assaulted several people.”
A source say the eight girls charged in Lee’s death are suspected to be involved in those assaults.
No word if they face any additional charges.
One of them has been released on bail.
Another has a bail hearing next week, while the others are in court later this month.
