Veteran rocker David Crosby has died at 81.
The singer-songwriter was a founding member of two of the biggest bands of the ’60s: The Byrds and Crosby, Stills and Nash and later C-S-N and Young.
Crosby achieved the rare feat of being inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice.
David Crosby died after a long illness at 81.
A statement from Crosby’s wife released to Variety magazine confirmed the musician’s death “after a long illness” and said that he had died “lovingly surrounded by his wife and soulmate Jan and son Django.”
