Some Zoomers will remember them as the quintessential British rock and roll band from the 1960s.

The Who have announced a tour which will take them through the UK in July.  It’s their first tour in six years and each concert will feature an orchestra.

Leader Pete Townshend says singer Roger Daltry has dubbed the tour “Moving On” which he says is what they both want to do; move on with new music and classic Who songs performed in new and exciting ways.

The band is also encouraging fans to donate a Pound to England’s Teenage Cancer Trust when they buy tickets.
