Saying it’s far less than they’d been asking for, Canada’s Premiers have agreed to accept the healthcare deal offered to them by the Prime Minister.

The Premiers feel the funding — totalling $46.2 billion in new money doesn’t address all of their concerns, so they still plan to push Trudeau on addressing certain aspects such as long-term challenges.

The 10-year, $196 billion dollars deal offered last week includes increases to the Canada Health Transfer as well as 25 billion for bilateral deals tailored to each province and territory’s health-care system’s needs.
