Monday we told you about a guitar handed to music legend Chuck Berry, when a string broke on his guitar during a concert in England.

Well, that 1964 Gibson Firebird guitar (shown above) has been auctioned off for more than 33,000 CAD.

The Firebird was handed to the musician on stage at Wembley Stadium in 1972.

Berry rose to fame in the 1950s and influenced generations of players including Canada’s Michael J Fox, who played a Berry tune in the film “Back to the Future.”

Charles “Chuck” Berry died in 2017 at the age of 90.
