At 91, Canadian acting legend William Shatner says he doesn’t have long to live.

As a result, the Montreal-born actor says his new biopic is his way of reaching out after he’s gone.

The ‘Star Trek’ immortal describes the film, titled “You Can Call Me Bill,” as an intimate portrait of his personal journey over nine decades on Earth.

The film debuts at the South by South West Festival in Auston, Texas this weekend with wider release plans still being finalized.
