Some of the biggest names in British music and entertainment are taking a pass on the coronation of King Charles, but that hasn’t stopped a choir, made up of students from about 20 schools in Northern Ireland.
They’ve recorded a new hymn for the new king.
The hymn was written by Belfast-born composer Philip Hammond and will be played on big screens across Northern Ireland during the coronation weekend in May.
Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Councils combined to spend about $25,000 to have some 50-students’s voices recorded professionally.
