Some of our own Ontario hydro crews are being sent to the Washington, D-C area to help with power restoration efforts after massive storms caused widespread outages.
Hydro One says about 200 employees will help local utilities in the Baltimore, Virginia and Washington areas.
At least 14 people have died and nearly three million more remain without power after storms hit on Friday.
The area is experiencing a record-breaking heat wave and is desperate to get air conditioners working again.
