The Art Gallery of Ontario has a new curator of modern and contemporary art.
She’s Kitty Scott and her role will involve expanding the profile of the AGO’s modern and contemporary art collections… and planning and organizing major exhibitions.
AGO Director and CEO Matthew Teitelbaum says Scott’s expertise will help put Canadian artists on the global stage, bring the best of contemporary art to Toronto and present the gallery’s prized collection in dynamic new ways.
Kitty Scott is currently the Director of Visual Arts at The Banff Centre.
She begins at the AGO September 17th.
