The Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra has a new concertmaster.
Award-winning violinist Stephen Sitarski comes to Hamilton after serving for 15 years as concertmaster of the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony.
Sitarski is 45 and made his debut at age 15 with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
Sitarski has also served as first violinist of the Canadian Chamber Ensemble, the Emperor String Quartet, and Toronto’s Art of Time Ensemble….and was recently selected as a recipient of the Queen’s Jubilee Medal… for his work in music education.
