A major downtown Toronto intersection is closing to all traffic for 2 weeks. Queen and Spadina shuts down today to allow TTC crews to begin track switch reconstruction, track installation, and reconstruction of passenger islands at the popular intersection. The work is expected to wrap up on July 23rd. Motorists will have to use alternative routes including Dundas, King, Richmond and Adelaide. TTC riders should note that streetcars and buses are being diverted around the area.
