The former CEO of the Ornge Air Ambulance service is finally going to appear before the committee looking into the scandal

MPPs have been waiting to grill Chris Mazza, even going so far as to issue two Speaker’s Warrants compelling him to attend. But, until now, Mazza’s doctors have said he was medically unfit to testify.

The ORNGE scandal has been an embarrassment to the governing Liberals. Premier Dalton McGuinty and Health Minister Deb Matthews both say they are as eager to hear Mazzas testimony as the opposition.

Mazza’s direction of the air ambulance service is the subject of several investigations, including a criminal probe over financial irregularities.
