TOP CANADIAN EQUESTRIAN SUFFERS CONCUSSION AFTER THROWN FROM HORSE

Canadian equestrian   Hawley Bennett-Awad is in hospital after falling from her horse during a cross-country  competition. The Canadian Olympic Committee says the 35-year-old rider from Murrayville, B-C suffered a concussion and a back injury, but is improving.    Several riders fell on the treacherous course, but it appears no one else was seriously hurt.
