The “s” word has reared it’s ugly head in the Quebec election  campaign. Quebec Premier Jean Charest is using the fear of another sovereignty referendum to get  English-speaking voters to rally around his Liberal party.

Anglo voters are also being courted by the upstart “Coalition for Quebec’s Future.”

It is  presenting itself as an alternative for voters fed up with the corruption allegations surrounding the governing Liberals.

The coalition says Anglos are taken for granted despite helping the Liberals repeatedly win Montreal ridings over the years.
