Oscar-winning film director James Cameron is making inroads into the Chinese film industry.
The Canadian-born filmmaker has announced a joint venture with two Chinese companies to develop advanced 3D equipment.
China’s film industry is booming and there’s a growing demand for 3D films.
The worlds’s second-largest economy posted box office receipts of more than two billion dollars last year.
That’s expected to increase by 20 per cent this year.
Cameron told the Associated Press that the future of entertainment is 3D and the future of 3D is in China.
