The people of New Orleans are bracing for another hurricane.
Tomorrow will mark seven years to the day that the city was devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Now they’re waiting for Isaac.
It’s still a Tropical Storm, but forecasters say it’s on the verge of becoming a full-blown Hurricane as it moves across the Gulf of Mexico.
Authorities are confident a new levee system built to protect the New Orleans after Katrina will do its job.
Experts think Isaac will become a Category One hurriciane. When Katrina made landfall on Aug. 29, 2005, it was Category 3 and created a huge storm surge.
