Good news for chocolate lovers.
A new study suggests men who indulge in a little chocolate may be cutting their risk of stroke.
The study published in the journal Neurology examined eating habits in thirty-seven-thousand Swedish men between the ages of 39 and 75, and found a link between eating chocolate and reduced stroke risk.
Researchers say men who reported eating the largest amount of chocolate had a 17 per cent lower risk of stroke than men who did not indulge.
They also say the effect was not specific to dark chocolate, but point out 90 per cent of the men in the study were eating milk chocolate.
