There is good news to report from Toronto’s Sheraton Centre. The auto talks are said to be going well. The head of the Canadian Auto Workers says he’s feeling optimistic after constructive talks with negotiators for General Motors.
Ken Lewenza cancelled a Monday night strike deadline, agreeing to give Chrysler and G-M negotiators more time to go over the tentative four-year deal the union reached with Ford.
He says talks are not going as well with Chrysler.
