The ongoing N-H-L lockout has caused the league to cancel the first two weeks of its regular season, which was set to start next week.
The cancellation wipes out 82 regular-season games.
N-H-L deputy commissioner Bill Daly claimed earlier this week that the work stoppage has already cost the league almost 100-million dollars in lost revenue.
