Premier Dalton McGuinty says a new estimate that claims his government is low-balling the cost of closing two gas plants is wrong.
Energy industry watchdog Tom Adams says the total cost of cancelling the energy projects in Oakville and Mississauga is more than one billion dollars higher than the government’s figure of 230 million.
McGuinty is flatly rejecting Adams’ calculations, saying the 230 million dollar cost is still accurate.
