The shooting has resumed in the Gaza strip.

Israeli forces and Hamas militants in Gaza are firing at each other on this third day of their offensive.

Egypt’s Prime Minister visited Gaza this morning, and Israel offered to cease fire during Hesham Kandil’s visit, as long as Hamas Hamas militants held their fire.

But militants unleashed another rocket attack on Israel, and that ended the ceasefire.

There are signs Israel may be getting ready to send troops into Gaza for a ground assault.
