It’s hard to resist bacon frying in the pan or sausages.

But a new European study says for the sake of your health, go easy on the processed meat.

Researchers who looked at half-a-million people right across Europe concluded that diets high in processed meat are statistically linked to cardiovascular disease, cancer and early deaths.

The World Cancer Research Fund recommends cutting out processed meat from your diet altogether, but for those who can’t resist British health officials say around two strips of bacon a day is a healthy limit.
