The national memorial service for country singer Stompin’ Tom Connors is scheduled to take place tomorrow in Peterborough.
The black-hatted Canadian music icon had a hand in planning the memorial.
There will be a mix of live music, video clips, family photos and memories of Stompin’ Tom delivered by close friends, musicians and government officials.
Doors at Peterborough’s Memorial Centre open at 5 p-m, and the tribute begins two hours later.
Seating is limited to the first 32 hundred people through the doors.
Stompin’ Tom Connors died of natural causes last week at age 77.
