The Beatles released their first studio album March 22, 1963.

”Please Please Me” changed the face of pop music and cemented The Fab Four as a phenomenon.

Respected Beatles author Bruce Spizer suggests that one of the most significant achievements of ”Please Please Me” was that it helped the album overtake the single as the dominant music format.

The album was recorded in one marathon session.

The total cost to rent the studio was 620-dollars, equivalent to 15-thousand dollars today.
