Toronto’s mayor is calling new allegations about his behaviour at an official event as “lies after lies and lies.”

Rob Ford is denying a Toronto Star report that he was asked to leave a charity gala because he appeared intoxicated.

The paper says the story is based on interviews with several organizers and guests, all of whom requested anonymity.

Ford accused The Star of relentless attacks against him, and told reporters to wait until the next election to see what happens.
