Bob Rae has spent his final day at the helm of the federal Liberal party caucus. The interim Liberal leader says he hopes he brought some much-needed unity to his party until his replacement is chosen next month.

He also offered his support to the new leader, promising not to be “Crazy Uncle Bob coming down from the attic.”

Justin Trudeau is the perceived  front-runner heading into the leadership vote.
