Some of David Bowie’s personal treasures will kick off a world tour this fall at the Art Gallery of Ontario.
The show’s North American debut includes more than 300 items spanning five decades -highlighting the pop pioneer’s collaborations in the fields of fashion, sound, theatre, art and film.
The multimedia exhibit also focusses on Bowie’s artistic influences, including surrealism, German expressionism, music hall, mime and Japanese kabuki performance.
It’s the first time a museum will display items from the British-born performer’s archive, which contains over 75,000 objects.
“David Bowie Is” opens Sept. 25th and runs to Nov. 27th.
