Former Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty makes a return appearance in front of the committee investigating cancelled gas plants.
At his last appearance before the committee, McGuinty said he had no idea the cost of moving the plants would be close to $600-million.
But this time around, committee members will be more interested in what McGuinty has to say about the privacy commissioner’s report that senior staff in his office deleted emails concerning the move.
Opposition MPPs are expressing skepticism that McGuinty didn’t know emails were being deleted by his senior staff members.
The Conservatives have called in the OPP to investigate the deletion of emails.
