STRATFORD DEBUTS AT EDINBURGH WITH "HIRSCH"

The Stratford Festival is making its  Edinburgh debut with the hit production of “Hirsch,” a new one-man show about  the late Hungarian -Canadian theatre icon.

John Hirsch  created the Manitoba Theatre Centre, ran the Stratford Festival and the CBC Drama department and  directed on and off Broadway.

“Hirsch” tells the story of John’s  remarkable life as an orphan of the Holocaust  who immigrated to Canada and became a powerful creator  of theatre.

Created by award-winning actor Alon Nashman and Governor General’s Award-winning director Paul Thompson, “Hirsch” premiered at the Stratford Festival in 2012.

Before its Edinburgh debut it runs for one performance only at The Berekely Street Theatre, Friday July 19th at  8:00 pm.

Tickets: Pay-What-You-Can, at the door only…with Suggested Minimum of $15 dollars.
