The family of Terry Fox is loaning its huge private collection of memorabilia to the future Canadian Museum of History.

The collection will go on display in 2015 to mark the 35th anniversary of Fox’s Marathon of Hope.

Fox lost a leg to cancer when he was 18 and in 1980 started a marathon on a prosthetic limb  to raise money for cancer research.
