Police in Quebec are now referring to the charred remains of the centre of Lac Megantic as a “crime scene.”

Police say they are conducting a criminal investigation into the derailment and explosion of a train carrying crude oil on the weekend.

But they won’t say what criminal acts they’re investigating.

Two more bodies have been found, bringing the number of dead in the disaster to 15. Another 35 are still missing.

Meanwhile, the chair of the Montreal, Maine and Atantic Railway arrives in the town today. Edward Burkhardt is expected to receive a hostile reception from residents, some of whom are talking about filing lawsuits.
