A panel of experts, who reviewed operational issues at ORNGE have concluded that those issues contributed to the deaths of as many as eight patients.
There were five cases where there was a possible impact and one where there was “probable impact.”
The panel reviewed cases from January 2006 to June 2012.
The review was called after the release of cabinet documents which showed the government investigated 26 deaths involving its troubled air ambulance service since 2007.
