For a handful of people, who managed to get autographed copies of Robert Galbraith’s book “The Cuckoo’s Calling” those copies could have them “Rowling” in dough. Not many people had even read the book before word leaked out over the weekend that author Robert Galbraith was, in fact, J.K. Rowling. A Rowling spokesperson confirms that the “Harry Potter” creator, did sign a few copies of her detective novel as “Robert Galbraith” and bids for a signed first edition have now topped $1,000 on eBay. “The Cuckoo’s Calling” was published quietly in April. It is now No. 1 on Amazon.com and publisher Little, Brown and Company has commissioned a new printing of 300,000 copies.
