It’s not clear what caused water to leak into astronaut Luca Parmitano’s space suite today.

But it was serious enough for NASA to order him and another astronaut to abort their spacewalk outside the International Space Station this morning.

Barely an hour into the operation, the Italian astronaut detected water on the back of his head, which eventually got into his eyes, nose and mouth.

NASA says the leak may have come from the drink bag in his s space suit.
