Actor Dennis Farina, who played Detective, Joe Fontana on the popular Law & Order television series has died at age 69.

Farina is a Hollywood legend. He appeared in classic films and TV shows including  “Get Shorty,” “Snatch” And “Midnight Run.”

He also appeared in HBO’s series “Luck.”

Farina died today in Scottsdale, Arizona while  being treated for a blood clot in his lung.
