It promises to be one of the hottest tickets of the coming Broadway season. And it goes on sale today.
Harold Pinter’s No Man’s Land and Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot will be performed in repertory by Sir Ian McKellen, Sir Patrick Stewart, Billy Crudup, and Shuler Hensley.
The productions begin previews October 26th at the Cort Theatre on Broadway. The official opening is November 24th. The limited run will continue for 14 weeks.
McKellen and Stewart played a critically acclaimed run of Waiting for Godot in London in 2009.
The Stratford Festival production of Godot is also becoming a hot ticket. It stars Brian Denehy, Randy Hughson, Stephen Ouimette, and Tom Rooney.
