The future king of England was presented to throngs of well wishers, waiting outside London’s St. Mary’s hospital today.

Prince William, his wife Kate and their new son were greeted with squeals of delight and the flash of cameras as they presented the prince for the first time since his birth.

The couple then placed the child in a baby car seat for the journey home and an eventual audience with the Queen, his great grandmother.

William says a name has not yet be chosen.
