It will cost Toronto tax payers 400-thousand dollars a year for the next five years to get rid of graffiti on public and private structures.
That’s the value of a contract signed with Goodbye Graffiti, a Toronto-based graffiti removal company to help reduce graffiti vandalism in Toronto.
Toronto residents who receive a notice from the city to remove graffiti on their private property will be eligible for a 15 per cent discount on Goodbye Graffiti services.
The city says hate-and violence-related graffiti will be removed free of charge.
