The bakery at the centre of the Cronut Burger illnesses re-opened today.
Le Dolci bakery has been approved by Toronto Public Health.
However, owner Lisa Sanguedolce, says she will never again make the maple bacon jam that was at the centre of food poisoning at this year’s Canadian National Exhibition.
Sanguedolce says the jam was a special order created only for the CNE.
The jam was sold by Epic Burgers and Waffles, but the topping came from Le Dolci.
There were 250 reports of illness from visitors to the CNE although not all complaints involved the burger.
