A silkscreen belong to Andy Warhol’s “Death and Disaster” seriesheads to a New York City auction where it could fetch over$60-million.
“Silver Car Crash (Double Disaster)” is one of four works that captures the immediate aftermath of a car slamming into a tree.
It’ll be up for auction at Sotheby’s November 13th.
It’s the lone one that’s still in private hands.
That piece has been in the same collection for 25 years.
Warhol’s “Green Car Crash” holds the record for the artist.
It went for almost $72-million back in 2007.
