Firefighters are still at the scene of a deadly fire that swept through a highrise with mostly senior residents in London, Ontario leaving at least one person dead.
About 20 other people were sent to hospital including four firefighters who had mostly minor injuries.
There’s no immediate word on the extent of the injuries to residents of the building who were taken to hospital.
The fire broke out around 3:30 this morning at the 15-storey, 132-unit building which is home to mostly low-income or disabled seniors.
