The Rob Ford watch resumes today, with another week of possible twists and turns in the Toronto Mayor’s crack cocaine scandal.

A judge will consider an application from lawyers for a man who was seen in a notorious photo with the mayor taken outside what police claim is a crack house. Mohammad Khattak’s lawyers want the video of Ford appearing to smoke crack cocaine introduced as evidence in Khattak’s case. They say his reputation is being harmed by being associated with it.

Khattak was arrested as part of Project Traveller, a sweeping drugs and weapons investigation.

Ontario Superior Court Judge Ian Nordheimer ordered the Crown to bring the video to court today, when he is set to make his decision on whether he or the lawyers should view it.

Nordheimer is also expected to rule this week, perhaps today, whether the public has the right to see censored parts of a 500 page document compiled by police in an investigation into Ford’s relationship with Alexander Lisi, who was arrested on drug trafficking and extortion charges.
