A court document released today suggests people close to Toronto Mayor Rob Ford were concerned about the his use of drugs, drunk driving and even the presence of suspected prostitutes in his office. The previously blacked-out information from the document containing allegations not proven in court was released moments after Ford admitted for the first time to buying illegal drugs while in office. Councillor John Fillion will table a motion on Friday to reduce the Mayor’s powers. Earlier today Toronto city council voted 37-to-5 today to ask Mayor Rob Ford to take a leave, but he continues to insist he’s not going anywhere. Ford stunned the council chamber this morning, admitting he has purchased illegal drugs since becoming mayor. Later in the session, Ford tried to introduce a motion to have everyone on council submit to drug and alcohol tests, saying he would even pay for it.
